Welcome to our B&B, nestled on the banks of the ‘Le Libre’ river in the charming village of Félines-Termenès, in the heart of the Hautes Corbières.
Ideally located, our B&B is the perfect starting point to explore Cathar Country. Between the majestic castles, authentic vineyards, and the road to Spain, you’ll enjoy a truly unique setting for your holiday.
We are located in the center of a triangle formed by:

Information about your stay
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
- To give us time to maintain the property and out of respect for our privacy, you are welcome to arrive between 5pm and 8pm. If you need to arrive after 8pm, please let us know as soon as possible.
- On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room no later than 11am.
FOR YOUR STAY
- PARKING:You can park for free in the village,around 50 meter from our house. If you are on 2 wheels, we offer a parking space inside the property.
- Free WIFI.
- RELAXATION POOL: Accessible from 10am to 8pm. from May 15th to September 30th. Children under 12 years old must be under the supervision of an adult.
- RELAXATION AREA: A space with billiards, library, and more, is available on the 2nd floor.
- MASSAGE: treat yourself to a moment of well-being by booking a massage with Julia via this link.
MEALS
- Breakfast, served between 8:30 am and 10:00 am, weather permitting either on the terrace or in the dining room, is included in the room rate.
- Some evenings, by reservation, with a minimum of 4 guests, we offer a “guest table dinner ”. A unique menu is offered and served at 8pm outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather. All the guests are accommodated on site.
- The nearest trade is located 3km from our house in the neighbouring village.
SMOKING
- The interior of the establishment, rooms included, is NON-smoking. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your cigarette butts in the ashtrays provided.
PETS
- Pets are unfortunately not accepted at “Aux Berges du Libre”.
COTTAGE OPTION
- If you are interested in experiencing a moment of true esacape with family and friends, it is possible to book all rooms at Aux Berges du Libre. Let us take care of you, with both breakfast and evening meals served at the table. (Must be booked as a minimum two-night package)

All our rooms are equipped wit memory foam pillows, cotton/Egyptian cotton sheets, bath towels, hairdryer, shower gel/shampoo, body lotion, shower cap and vanity set.
BABY & CHILD
- We offer the option to request 1 child bed (3 to 10 years old) in the Thompson suite for an additional fee of €12 per night.
- We offer the option to request a travel cot for 1 baby aged 3 months to maximum 3 years (max. 15 kg) in our rooms Savane, Orientale, Cyclades, and Suite Thompson for an additional fee of €7 per night.
- We can provide a baby bathtub, a high chair, and toddler-friendly plastic tableware for your use.

I recommend this guesthouse. The rooms are extremely comfortable, decorated with care. Each room has a different theme. There is a very cozy lounge available. WiFi works well.There is also a very nice pool but we couldn't use it because it was raining (and yes, they've been waiting for the rain for a year and it was this weekend 😳).Jean-Paul and Geneviève are adorable. Jean-Paul took care of us with great attention and availability.The breakfasts are complete. In short, a great place to discover the Hautes Corbières.We went mountain biking there and it was really good.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was an excellent stay. Geneviève and Jean-Paul welcomed us in an exemplary way, they were super nice and very welcoming.The house is beautiful, we would have liked to be able to stay more nights. It is located in an environment of vineyards and castles and you can breathe a lot of calm.The breakfast they served us, included in the price of the rooms, was delicious and there was nothing missing.We will be back, very soon, without hesitation!!Highly recommended!

A beautiful, atypical and very pleasant place on our “Cathar castles” journey. Warm welcome, impeccable rooms and hearty breakfast! And the restaurant "la Bonbonnette" in St Laurent de la Cabrerisse, recommended by our host Jean Paul, a real treat!
We were 10 friends and occupied all the rooms! Superb house restored and decorated with great taste. Each room has its theme. Small gym, billiards, reading corner, swimming pool and pretty garden. Everything is gathered in this place in the heart of the Cathar country where there are many things to see.Jean Paul welcomes you to this beautiful residence, and will concoct an excellent dinner for you in the large dining room where you will also have your breakfast.It's a charming stopover and we will come back with great pleasure. We stayed for three nights and had a lovely time. Jean Paul was very welcoming and the room we stayed in had everything we needed and was a perfect mixture of a rustic place with modern interior. In the vicinity are picturesque little towns with nice restaurants which offer good food and friendly service. The surroundings invite explorers who enjoy serene hikes throgh southern frances beautiful nature. Full recommandation!
Warm welcome and Jean Paul taking care of 2 couples of exhausted cyclists. Neat and original decoration. We appreciated being able to have an aperitif. No restaurant open around ... we had to take "pizzas to take away". Jean Paul organized the table for us to dine outside and kindly provided us with his cellar and his arranged rum! A big thank you otherwise we would have had to dine on our bicycle saddles.
Parenthesis in this sublime and calm gîte with Jean-Paul and Geneviève who are as welcoming as possible. A perfect kitchen in the evening with local products....advice, smiles and exchanges....I wish them all the best while waiting to come back. If you are in the area, do not hesitate.

A haven of peace! Geneviève and Jean-Paul are the hosts to recommend. Their house is welcoming and comfortable, enough to relax with the swimming pool and an idyllic environment. We always leave with the desire to return.
To say that the welcome is warm and attentive, even friendly, is quite insufficient, you have to live it! Impeccable cleanliness. Comfortable rooms and bedding, breakfasts +++ (Don't miss the jams!). Nice dinner and local wine!Availability and (wise) advice from Jean Paul, his kindness and his humor add a nice touch of humanity to the harsh and wild landscapes. We had a wonderful stay (July 13 to 16, 2022). A beautiful step that we warmly recommend.
